Riftbound Spiritforged (Set 2, SFD): the second expansion
The expansion that brings Equipment into Riftbound, between forged steel and the spirits of the Spirit Blossom festival.
Spiritforged (set code SFD) is Riftbound’s second expansion. Released in China on December 12, 2025 and in English on February 13, 2026, it reached French-speaking players on July 24, 2026, the same day as Unleashed, as part of the accelerated French release calendar.
The set has 221 numbered cards, plus 30 secret Overnumber cards (numbers 222 to 251), for a total of 251 cards excluding signature variants. It introduces 12 new Legends and welcomes champions new to Riftbound such as Ezreal, Fiora, Irelia, Lucian and Rumble.
Spiritforged is above all the Equipment set: the Equip mechanic and the Quick-Draw, Weaponmaster, Repeat and Unique keywords make their debut. Its world blends the steel of forged weapons with the spirit of Ionia’s Spirit Blossom festival, which features heavily on alternate and Overnumber cards.
